About James Rocks

James Rocks was born in and is based in Hollywood, Birmingham, UK.

James began his acting journey studying a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. He studied in the hometown of the infamous 'William Shakespeare' where the prestigious 'Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC)' is based in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. He also completed professional acting training at The Custard Factory in Birmingham, UK.

At the age of 19, James moved away from acting to develop successful careers in the fitness, UK Fire and Rescue Service and Health and Safety industries. However, he began acting again in November 2021. This is now his full-time profession.

He has performed various stage plays, and appeared in many major TV productions for the likes of Amazon Studios, Netflix, Apple TV, BBC and ITV. He has also been cast in feature and short films, a TV series (pilot), commercials and corporate productions.

James is screen combat qualified (SPACT) and trained in firearms, green screen scanning/acting and  has had applied prosthetics/SFX .
